Abe
Mitchell (Sam Ryder's coach) tees off at Wentworth in 1926 in a match arranged
between the golf professionals of Britain and America. The following year
the first official Ryder Cup match was played. Abe Mitchel was used as the
model for the figure on the lid of the cup.
